Activities at our Amelia Island Resort

Looking for a fun adventure while on your Amelia Island Vacation? We have kayaking, free tennis, fishing, horseback riding, golf, boating and scuba diving for the days you are not relaxing on the white sand. Play tennis on one of our four Har-Tru courts. Court time is complementary to our guests, and you can fine-tune your game with instruction from our resident pro. Also complementary, the Fitness Center in the Reception & Sales Center features modern equipment and facilities to ensure a good workout. The Fitness Center is open only to guests that rent through Florida Properties.

A wide range of fishing opportunities exists to satisfy every angler from fly fishing to deep sea fishing or trolling over oyster beds and marsh grass in the back-country waters of Amelia Island. Popular catch includes Red Fish, Spotted Sea Trout, Flounder, Shark, and seasonal fish such as Spanish Mackerel, Lady Fish and Bluefish. If you are interested in boating without the casting, Amelia Island offers that too. Enjoy one of our historic narrated tours of the scenic waterways and wildlife sightseeing. Or learn to sail while sighting dolphins, sea turtles and manatees.

Very few Florida vacations are complete without playing a round or two of golf. Amelia Island offers several public and semi-private golf courses including a PGA tournament course. Each course provides a unique challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

We are only 30 minutes to Jacksonville where you will find the annual Florida/Georgia football game, the Gator Bowl, the professional arena football team Jacksonville Sharks and of course the Jacksonville Jaguars!

If baseball is more of your sport, enjoy a minor league baseball game and watch the Jacksonville Suns play during the spring and summer.
