Annual Amelia Island Restaurant Week

January 17-26, 2020

Enchant your palate during AMELIA ISLAND RESTAURANT WEEK.  Local establishments have crafted very special menus, offering diners prix-fixe meals lunch or a three-course dinner. The eclectic array of cuisines features Italian, Spanish, Seafood, Deep Southern, Cuban, French, and Creole, among others. Fish to Fork 

Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort will host its 6th Annual Fish to Fork, May 7-10th 2020. With sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and beautiful tree canopies as a backdrop, the weekend will offer an unmatched foodie experience, with true dock-to-dish specialties in a fun and interactive atmosphere.  The resort will welcome renowned chefs from around the country to showcase their fishing and culinary skills, leading up to a final Chef Showdown on Saturday night with a live vote from event guests!

Isle Of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival 

The Festival will be taking place May 1st- 3rd 2020, the event is taking place downtown Fernandina and features live music, art and crafts for purchase, boat parades and much more.

Originally constructed as a haberdashery in 1878, Louis G. Hirth bought the Prescott building in 1903 and replaced shoes with booze and named it the Palace Saloon. Hirth called upon his old friend Adolphus Bush, founder of Anheuser-Busch to assist him with the design of the elegant Bar, and Busch reportedly traveled from St. Louise to oversee the installation of the now famous fixture.
