The Adrian Awards are a BIG DEAL in the Hospitality World! We are proud to announce that Amelia Island has taken home the Platinum Award for their work for “Clean Beaches and Sea Turtles” and was chosen as one of the Leaders in Sustainable Tourism for 2016. Amelia Island Convention and Visitor’s Bureau has done a great job in spear-heading the marketing of our beautiful island and we are so proud of our wonderful beaches and our Sea Turtle population. With the “Leave it or Lose It” rule now forbidding anything to be left on the beach overnight, such as tents, chairs, umbrellas. etc…the Sea Turtles have a safer journey to the water! We love our Island, our Beaches and our wildlife!
